Stockyards Materials Yard is located on South Ashland Avenue in Chicago and is licensed by the State of Illinois and the City of Chicago to accept clean construction and demolition debris for the purpose of producing materials for contractors, landscapers and homeowners throughout the area. Stockyards Materials is able to receive clean, broken concrete, bricks, rocks, stone, dirt, spoils and asphalt generated during construction or demolition activities.
Stockyards Materials in turn uses their knowledge and equipment to produce such products as: bulk limestone, recycled aggregate in a variety of sizes, sand, mulch, pulverized soil, rough topsoil and a variety of custom blends of soils, lifts and capping materials.


Garden mulch from either our Riverdale Material or Stockyards locations can be used to highlight plants, bushes, and other shrubbery in around your home and gardens.

Reclaimed topsoil and pulverized materials from our Morris Dirt facility is the perfect material for backing up garden rows of potatoes, broccoli or other garden vegetables.

Soil, rocks and stones from any of our locations, like Kankakee Recycling can make a marvelous rock and herb garden which will certainly give you bragging rights in eco-practices!

Recycled wood collected and ground at our Markham Transfer site can be used to make a durable and beautiful path through your property or as a weed-block cover around raised beds.
